In Place of Dreary Patterns

Griffin Bain is Brain Gel Radio, an extremely prolific electronic artist drawing from dark ambient, surrealism, modern classical, avant garde and noise music.  He has over 40 recordings to his name, most of which have never been officially released.  Josh has often featured on Brain Gel Radio recordings, typically contributing vocals and occasionally other sounds.

“Pangaea” is the first release from Josh and Griffin as a pair - A dreamlike, abstract flow of sound that is ambient, yet faster paced and constantly shifting.  A subconsciously structured collage of layered, glittering textures, “Pangaea” is intended to be deep enough for complete immersion when listening on headphones.  No recognizable beats, instruments or vocals are present here, aside from a bit of harmonica.  Anything more would distract from the intended sojourn.
